Working of D.C. Generator class 10| Why it's D.C.?

Materials Used:
- Permanent Magnet Poles.
- Axle .
- P split ring attached to arm AB.
- Q split ring attached to arm CD.
- X and Y carbon brushes.
- X Attached to EH.
- Y Attached to FG.
Note: X and Y is not attached to AB and CD arms.X and Y just slip on Split rings.
PRINCIPLE
WORKING
When Axle is rotated in such a way that Direction of force in arm AB is upward and CD is downward .
When we apply Fleming's right hand Rule:
We find the Direction of Induced current;

In AB, current is from A to B.
In CD , current is from C to D.
And current in EFGH is set up From Y to X Brushes.
Hence, Generator is made.
But how it's D.C.?
Now when half rotation is done Direction of induced current is reversed in ABCD from D to C in arm DC, from B to A in arm AB.
now see the direction of current in EFGH (wire attached to Brushes).
It's remain same from b1 to b2.As CD attached to R1 and BA to R2. After rotation they are replaced by each other. Current direction in CD is as AB(before one rotation) and AB is as CD.So,The direction of induced current is remain same in circuit attached b1 to b2. Split rings reverses the direction of circuit.So,they are known as Commutator.Direction remain same.
Hence, Its D.C. generator.
